my point is he progresses every year so if that keeps up next year he should be closer then we could have hoped when drafting him. - onesmallleap
You are right. He's progressing in college which gives him a shot to make it in the NHL. So let's get him signed and go from there. The next level is a climb and we just don't know enough. I won't take away potential for 2/3 which you see but it's still a long road and a lot to prove.

I think you are reading too many headlines. MacGuire said he may be the steal of the draft. You have to look at the source .MacGuire says that about everyone.
Both games I seen him play he looked ordinary. Good IQ

I never said that.
Gaudette makes one or two very nice plays a game but he is not a dominating player. - VANTEL
he's a sophmore who ranks in the top 6? and has more PP goals and game winners then the leading scorer on a weaker team.
not to many players just dominate the game in the ncaa

The NHL nowadays seems to be less of a hurdle it was in the past for some players to get to, as we see with junior players coming in and doing well and putting up points. players are more prepared and systems are adaptable to integrating new players
I'm a bit confused.......maybe because I try to think out of the box, or the being an odd duck is a factor.....but why extend Miller? And why for 5 or 6 million? That's Price money.......
There might be some here that say he's as good as Price (in skill, IMO Price takes it hands down) but he's not........If Montreal were to trade him, they could get value....Miller is limited to where he wants to go if traded, which hand cuffs us.......I like Miller as a goalie...he is good....but 2 or 3 mil good, not 5 or 6......If someone else wants to pay him that, more power to them. Lots of FA goalies after july 1st......shouldn't we have a look first?
I AM 100% RESIGN THE SEDIN's (both at league minimum pay for 2 years). If they really want this team to win (and by proxy them) a stanley cup.....Why not, as through and through Canucks, take a pay cut and give the team flexibility to create a juggernaut, and they can come for the ride.............
And for the obligatory youtube clip, I'll even be more helpful......For those of you who have problems spotting a fake profile (on fb, insta, twit, pof, message boards, ect) here you go

Some people don't know how to google search an image.....I know of dozens of people who have been scammed by catfish (a lot of ladies though...go figure) So a nice tool to know how to use.
I totally didn't get the Miller thing....when someone said 5 or 6, I assumed because that's what he gets now, they meant per year....my bad
