He is just an insecure idiot that thinks we care about him. Post something bad about the Leafs and he replies within 3 minutes . He's a lurker |

You should probably ban Vantel and Don (Marwood if you want, but who cares?). I think it will lead to a better thread. They're just like the French. Defending the Nucks till their last dying breath. Once they realize after everyone else the Nucks are poop, they lead the charge of the light brigade that the Nucks are poop. Claiming they were the first to spot this. Basically they're a step behind the rest of Hockeybuzz, which to be honest is saying something. I don't think they'll be missed having chatted with Nucks fans. - walshyleafsfan
Going to miss the playoffs again . Must be fun being a Laffs fan |

50 years? How old do you think I am?
Edit. That's like me saying no Nucks fans should ever say anything because they've never reached the heights of so many other NHL teams. That would be foolish.
Shame on you. - walshyleafsfan

How does a 19 year old minimum draft benefit the owners or NHL...?
They get to know better what they are getting? Saw that brought up as a give in for Olympics. Thoughts? |

Not gonna happen. Ken Linseman won a case in 70's don't think the league will take it on again. |

Yeah but then less good cheap labor for CAP.
So if they do how will it work. The first time will have a bunch of players that were not drafted the year before. It will suck that year especially for lotto winners. |

What do you think we could get if we keep Tanev , re-sign Gudbrannson and trade Tryamkin at the draft?
Our right side is pretty deep and Tryamkin likes the right side .
a top pick? pick and prospect? |

trying to predict 18 yr olds is riskier and more of a gamble for the most part |

Old enough to die for your country, old enough to play in a mens league. |

Tryamkin is our best player other than Horvat. You dont trade that. |

I love that Voracek called out Daly, but I wonder what are the legalities/ramifications if a player like Ovi just left and went to the olympics without the NHLs consent? |

Yes not arbitrarily. But can be agreed to and part of new CBA. |

You wouldn't trade Tryamkin for Barkov or Draisaitl type of player? |

If it is something I truly believed I wouldn't care and just do it. Ovi will go and say f@ck the NHL. He has made enough. He could walk away happy. Control doesn't work.

Logical. I'm just a simpleton when if comes to draft rules.
Trade Tree......that's a good question. As a fan of his, (I want to believe) he's Chara 2.0 ........(in reality he might be Ballard 2.0). So to trade him, I would sell him on his potential......but from the outside looking in, he's a big rookie d...that's it. He's still a question mark.
At least with Tanev or Edler there is more tangible track record to make a trade on. |
