Khaira should be back in the minors.

Maroon-McDavid-Kassian (he's been fantastic over the past few)

Lucic-Nuge-Eberle (they're finally turning it on)

Pouliot/Caggs/Slepy-Draisaitl-Hobbit/Puj (he's getting called up soon)

Hendricks/Khaira-Letestu/Hobbit-Pakarinen/Hobbit

You just get dumber as the season goes on....which is impressive really because one would think you couldn't get any dumber.

I missed the worst GM article. Actually read some of the comments. Hall is not just an offensive forward for those that missed the worlds. He is an amazing two way player. The Oilers are in bad need of a guy like him. Lucic's contract might bight us. Hopefully Vegas takes him. We need a guy that can create offence from no where which Eberle and Nuge for some reason are struggling to do. I am a huge Nuge fan but he was the expendable player in the off season if any. Really trading a top 3 player for any defender that wasn't a top tier defender was premature. Obvious the Oiler players, with the exception of Hall after his amazing showing at the Worlds, value was low.

Still Eberle and McDavid were doing great together. Eberle has Elite hands and is a perfect long term fit on his wing. You could put a trained chimp with those two and he would get 20 goals (see Maroon). Then imagine an unerrated two way player like Draisaitl with Elite skills paired with one of the games highest ranked wingers in Hall. Then put anyone with them, even Nuge and you have a line that can play against any top line in the league and not just shut them down but provide dangerous offense.

For those that say Hall is injured all the time. Teams don't rush top players back from injury when they have no chance of making the playoffs. Also, if it is a small injury the take them out to be safe. They don't play hurt. Notice how the Oilers use to have record number of games missed due to injury and now that problem is suddenly gone? Do you think they just found the miracle of band aids? No. Hall will miss games he normally wouldn't on a team not in the running for the playoffs.
