I'm doing good.

I think so. He was busy when most weren't. He won't get any flack from me.

Yeah I don't think there aren't too many in here that can complain with the returns

I get why the Sharks made their deal but the sens one is a head scratcher to me

As much as I wanted it to be a goal, it wasn't. It was about timing. If he were driving the net after the puck arrived it would have been coincidental contact but he arrived before the puck and contact was made before the puck was on net.
- thundachunk

Shorthouse was right to say it could go either way but it was a goal. Even though Chapoo was heading towards the crease he was still guided by Hainsey and Hainsey having 'pushed' or guided Chapoo resulted in Chapoos leg hitting the goalie 'but'…had no impeding impact on the goal. If Chapoo does it on his own sure…no goal, but in this case the goal should have stood. Whether he arrives before the puck in this instance makes no difference because Hainsey has guided Chapoo to that point. But it was no shock to see it go against the Nucks. Carol mentioned it should have counted and she was correct.

I don't think drafting OJ was taking the BPA ...he wasn't even the top D in many scouts lists ...he was the guy benning wanted so he took him
- Redmile247

Well, we'll just agree to disagree on that one.

I think JB had his eye on the top 4 forwards (Mathews, Laine, PLD and Pujlivarji) and OJ as the best Dman of the bunch and he took BPA.

I recall pundits agreeing that he was the best dman available, although of course others disagreed, because, you know, it's always a bit of a roll of the dice.

Josh Healey:
Scouts say he’s a decent first-pass defenceman but his forte is open-ice hitting and playing a hard, physical game.

Him and Daniel Brickley are largely regarded as the two top NCAA free agent Dmen, though both remain a relative long shot to be game changers in the NHL.

But, ya never know...

Thanks

I think they are still playing so we can't sign him tomorrow

I wonder how long they keep this NCAA pipeline open?
It's like a mini free-agency, that gives us lowlifes another thing to talk about.

Seems after the TDL not much buzz can be generated about new additions. College signings not high profile enough. So it's a meh for whatever JB manages to do?

What's up with Drew Shore?

via sportsnet:

Shore has 24 points, including nine goals, and 24 penalty minutes in 80 career games.

to compare,
Megna: 103GP 10 9 19pts and 28 pims.
Chaput 112GP 6 9 15pts and 53 pims.

C'mon guys, better than Megna and Chaput!

Other then who to draft a year round endevour. This college signing period is relevant until April. Then it's about the lotto. Followed by who to protect or trade in Vegas expansion draft. After that it's only about entry draft. With the add in who to trade to draft more. Then add in possible free agent do's and don'ts. Some more trade speculation. Then finally it's the coutdown to camp and who should make it or stay with Comets.

Does that about cover it?!?

No. My point is the undermanned excuse was silly.
- Rinosaur

Not an excuse, reality and its been that way for 2 years, this team is injury prone.

He's bigger then them and supposed to be a bit of a play maker. He got 48 points in 50 games playing in Europe this season.

Yes they do and we are well aware of it. Sorry for not freaking out over your extremely lame attempt at trolling. No participation ribbon for you.

Sweet.

Happy to take on another reclamation project at this point.
Give him some games and see if he can play.
Decide later if he deserves a contract next year, like Boucher.
