Thanks so much Carol!
Nice to see the Sedins attending all those morning skates to be 'mentoring' the youth coming in...oh wait...
4-3 Broons OT and Miller with a few stinkers.

Just read that Zach is aiming for a team willing to let him burn a year on his ELC because NHL money is significantly more then AHL money. |

@Nucker
Comets do have a week roster but as you can see a lot of them won't be back next year .
My comment was more at your comment they are a mess.
Canucks and Comets will be going through huge change over the next three years. In the end I think we will be okay but it will take time.
BTW glad to see Carlo make it as a top regular. We use to have a few discussions on him. |

A hockey player that can choose whether he wants to make six hundred thousand or sixty thousand. The bastard |

i think the mess he was talking about was the constant change of players this season due to all the injuries on the nucks.
im hoping for big changes on the farm this year too.. Let grenier, nilsson etc all walk so we can give their minutes to younger guys who are looking to take the next step

I would add Megna to the list. I know it seems unlikely given his current use, but I dont think there is room for a 27 year old who puts up prospect-type numbers. You can find more productive stop-gap players (ie Shore) |

Having a potential small forward group which would include Sven, Goblin, Dahlen and Granlund, I expect Benning to be wanting to select players with a combination of size and skill like his signings of Shore and MacEwen (sp).
(Also I don't consider Bo to be very big, nor have I ever seen him body check somebody)
As you mentioned in previous comment this team will be going through constant changes over the next few seasons. |

Depends how badly he wants to be in the NHL, they could probably bring him back for minimum salary if he wants a real chance next year injury free |

I thought about retaining him too, but realistically I dont see much of a spot for him. Your forwards for next season include Sedin-Sedin-Eriksson-Bo-Sven-Grandlund-Sutter-Dorsett. Thats 8/12; then you add Goldoblin, Boucher, maybe Boeser, Virtanen or Gaunce and there isnt much room for a skill guy in the bottom 6 |

True, would be a shame not to get to see what he could show, but it would also be nice to see us have enough depth to not need him |

If you want more then "prospect type" numbers. Will have to look at the 30 year Olds and more games played. |

On a trial basis, I like the third line. Sutter with size, grit and a little scoring potential. Always thought they put a cape on and expected him to win every game instead of putting him on a "working" line. - edmontonxxbound

I wouldnt go as far to say depth, but prioritizing development. Goldoblin, Boeser and even Boucher are young enough to be given the sheltered 3rd line minutes and PP2 time. Rodin was a nice idea for the playoff push but I think at 26 he's a bit old to be learning the NHL on a rebuilding team IMO |
