Maybe Willie has been instructed to sit him to help with the stealth tank
- CanuckDon

I don't know, if they were tanking Hutton would be back in the top-4

When players come here they suck and become ill and injury prone. When they leave they play on first lines of Cup or playoff teams or win won. #nosaviours4Nucks.

Bonino?..... uh.... can't think of any other players..... and pretty sure Pitt isn't resigning him...

care to name a few more? Cause this post is just nonsense if you can't.

(edit) Kesler, I guess, but he wanted out of Van... Can't blame management for that one

he's definitely a step behind this season. Anyone know what's actually wrong with Tanev?

The scouting report that says he battles hard along the boards and has worked on his shot? He is a long shot to be an impactful NHL player.
- CanuckDon

I only pointed out the bang and gritty part of his game as total opposite to your Megna comparison. More reports on him check out Kaptans link.

Main thing is Reese's stock has risen cause he upped his offense a lot and is among tops in the NCAA. He has top 6 potential. But look an ELC for a developed player that has upside is golden for a rebuilding team like the Nucks. He can easily be middle six solid for them now or 4th liner for future core. That's not long shot.

However, there are a couple centers that maybe JB try's to real in. Like an offensive capable Hults who is listed at 6-2 205 lbs., which gives him the size to use long reach and protect the puck effectively, but what separates him and makes him an NHL prospect is that he has extremely light feet and is a very fast skater.

Willie Mitchell with the Kings. But it's all meant as a spin on the grass is always greener commentary.

Plus Hansen and Burrows now playing on first lines. Still would love to add Hansen to the Cup list. No bias for the extra top pick for Nucks

Just sounds a lot like Virtanen/Boeser/Gaunces scouting profile. That Heavy, smooth skating forward, I wanna see some diversity, get some shrimps on the team

This team is so thin that it will be pretty hard to complain about any signings. We need all positions anD types of players, let's hope we get 2 or 3 per year that can eventually contribute.

They brought him in because he can fire the puck from the back end.

They were considerate of Subban's feeling, so they brought this guy in so Jordan S would not be the only guy back there that can fire the puck and will never get a sniff of the NHL

You are massively overrating this kid. It would be extremely unlikely that he could step into our top 9 next year. We got lucky with Stetcher. If he signs with us that's fantastic but he will likely be shipped to Utica.

For sure. They will be adding more 18 year olds in the draft. Last season we got OJ and maybe Lockwood as NHL hopefuls. So adding as many CHL 19/20 year olds and college guys 20-22 to ELC for Comets and depth or competition for spots on Nucks is a good thing.

I'm surprised they haven't shut players down for the season yet (Granlund/Tanev comes to mind)

a waste of space...?

It's like our version of 'if a tree falls in the forest...'

If a player isn't signed to the Canucks and offered an empty spot, can we still complain about him?

hint: the answer is yes.

I believe the following also applies...

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take. Wayne Gretzky.

As someone mentioned earlier, he is leading minute man on defense with 2 1st rounders and a 3rd rounder from last year's draft, he must be doing something right.

(Sergachev, Stanley and exceptional status Sean Day)

Ya, he's 20 years old.
