Tyrod Taylor's restructured two-year contract contains just $1 million guaranteed after 2017.
Taylor is slated to make $14.5 million in 2017, but the Bills will have another decision to make after this season. Just $1 million of his base salary in 2018 is guaranteed, and a $6-million roster bonus which likely is due early in the league year will force them to commit or not commit to Tyrod early next offseason. Even if they pay the roster bonus, Taylor is now scheduled to hit free agency after the 2018 season. With that level of uncertainty about Tyrod's future, the Bills should still be looking hard at quarterbacks early in the draft.

He has good playoff (what are those?) stats too.

Zatsiev had 26 points coming out of KHL Antipin 24. I'm not sure how much better a prospect Zatsiev was but I'll take the risk all day

I read that he was a +6 in the World Championships, pretty good against talented players. He is a small D 5'11, about 180.
