Somewhat interesting article, although the author is a drama queen. It basically backs up the eye test. Eriksson generated a lot of offense this season and was sound defensively but had horrendous luck. I can't recall seeing a player this snake bitten in awhile. Not saying he had a good season by any means. But he deserved 20 goals. |

Despite his contract, once the Sedins are gone he'll be a good veteran player to insulate the kids #positivity |

Last 2 years are L-NTC so we can trade him anywhere on his list. Though still 6m cap hit, his salary will be low so salary teams with lots of cap would want him for either cap floor, or for a run. |

True. 'plus' WD never really used him correctly IMO. He wasn't given a long enough stretch to play with the Sedins, AND he should have been on PP1 for a long time to get those garbage goals.
I think he'll be back to some good production next year if we have some different direction coaching and player-wise. |

Not for the next 4-6 years. Hard to say what they will do for a coach. |

Eriksson brings a total different dynamic to the table then the Sedins. They excelled in the "fancy pass" outside game, waiting for a breakdown, which worked well for a time but is now too well known and easy to defend against. Eriksson, on the other hand, )is far more agreesive driving the net and forcing turnovers. With the "change" in image being sold to us,
Eriksson could be an excellent role model for the young team members. |

Good points. LE and Sedins worked on bigger ice and superior D which Nucks don't have. He was looking like a good fit for Bo for now. At least until prospects work their way in to #1 line down the road. |

Willie is a tank coach. I think a retool coach is Green or Kruger. A coach that doesn't dream about Megna in a speedo is a retool coach. |
