if goldobin and boeser don't stick with the team next season, the comets could be a better/more entertaining product than the canucks.
can they switch buildings with the big club for the next season(s)? |

man that looks like a good core for Utica next season. Sept Goldy, I would think he'll get the best look given he's been producing in the AHL - Crazybagoham
Yes. Except OJ can't play with Comets on junior rule. He could play with Nucks. Maybe they keep him and like him for 7D slot rotating in to 6D. You know there will be injuries and he will get playing time.
Edited. More points to why in next posts. |

Without a doubt the Comets are going to be more entertaining.
We should plan a HockeyBuzz road-trip to Utica when we are all together at the picnic this summer. |

It's amazing how there is a correlation between bad NHL teams, good AHL teams and then good NHL teams again....
I just hopefully hope we can stop hearing " player x" is too good for junior/ahl etc.
I'm not surprised at all that Virtanen is improving playing in a league he was previously deemed " too good for". |

Slotting him in as a 7 th D is one of the dumbest posts ever made on here. Sorry bud.
You have a future Top Dman and your development plan for him is to sit in the pressbox?

Maybe but no worries there will be call ups as you know injuries will happen.
I have a feeling they will give Rodin another contract and chance to start season. As to see what he has like they did Larsen. He can't be waived and they invested in his lost season. Maybe he has better results. Plus with DD back plus Guance, as well as Boucher if not claimed by Vegas, there is little room. My belief is Miller or Sbisa has more appeal for Vegas.
My thoughts are they will give the new skilled guys time in AHL like they did at least with Stecher. He won a spot in camp but they sent him down. Only waived Pedan because Tree wouldn't go.
As it stands now the Canuck forward reality for 2017 starting line up based on roster and players who can't be waived:
Sedins Granlund
Sven Bo LE
Rodin Sutter Boucher
Guance ChapuT DD
Not fixing lines. They might keep LE with Sutter and Boucher with Bo if he shows promise now for example.
Cram, Skille, Megna??? Let go. Waive or keep?
Comets can start with:
Dhalen, Goldy, BB and JV. They are short on center talent for them. Unless Dhalen or BB plays that for them. Shore or some overage CHL talent perhaps brought in. Another prospect trade by JB coming probably. Off season will be interesting. |

Call it what you want but you are hanging on to a word and not the suggested concept. Maybe it makes more sense if that's a rotation position like 6-7. Again I said maybe depending how they feel about him playing another season in junior. If they believe training as a pro with spotting games over long season is better that's their call.
With probable injures he will be playing like Tree and Stecher did. He wouldn't be sitting in the press box. It's a long season. Nuck D guaranteed to be out for long stretches. What would be better to have. More Biega/Larsen again or OJ? |

If he is playing full time if he is ready( I doubt it) then fine, but don't sit him in the pressbox |

He should be sent to Jr and the following year to Utica. We don't want to rush these kids |

So he sits 30 games as a Canuck and when he does play gets 12 minutes or plays 80 games as a London Knight 20 minutes a night . What would be better for him |

That's fine and can happen. It's the easy call. But it all depends on where he is at developing and what Canucks need. He should be playing AHL next season but because of junior rule can't.
Junior given all he's done won't develop his game much if at all. He might take on bad habits against inferior players. Those are the negatives against. Plus playing so many junior games is less time in gym for him to put on weight. The biggest knock he has now for pros is strength and weight. Lots of time with Nuck training staff might counter that. Ease into games. It's not a rush if seen as a development step.
Following season it's AHL or big club just like JV. No worries he's young. That's the option for keeping up. If sent down which is fine then no option. It's a wait a year. |

I would trade Tanev for forward help.
Edler Stetcher
Hutton Tryamkin
OJ Gudbrandson
Not that guddy is bottom pairing, but Edler and stech have chemistry as do Hutton Tryamkin |

We should get one of the stars crap goalies both have a year left and no way they can bring them back.
bachman for crap goalie and a 2nd and rights to nichkusin (or how ever you spell his name)
Then markstrom gets his 55-60 games and crap goalie can loose us the rest.
Demko and gartieg get the starts in utica |
