So does the team that finished third last, in the first round. Essentially the team that finishes third last and Vegas gets the same 11.5% odds at winning the first overall pick, again, only for the first round.

If Vancouver finishes third last, both them and Vegas will have the same odds for the first round. They don't get bumped to fourth odds.

I'm wondering if we see an epic drop and Klim Kostin is still be available at 33. Not saying I think highly of him but I wouldn't be surprised if he fell that far after being in most top 10's at the beginning of the season.

We cant get the #3 spot odds because they go to LV. Thats why finishing at 29 is huge because then you cant fall past 5th in the draft. If we finish 28 we get bumped to 4 and can finish as low as 7.

For me I like the consensus top 5, you have 4 centers and the dman we are missing.

I could see comtois falling to the 2nd, his numbers have been bad this year not sure if his team is just much worse or what the cause has been.

We should get a solid prospect with our 2nd rounder. The columbus pick which Im assuming we get will be much more of a gamble.
