Wont be a popular opinion, but I respect Kesler's desire to win. The rest of the vets have been going down with the ship not waiving their NTC's to go to contenders while they still have value. Instead they are dragging this rebuild on longer than it needs to be

A fair point and I too respect anyone's desire to be a champion. Having said that the team was still pretty deep when Kesler was here and it would have been a classy move to see him tough it out for a few seasons with the kids...likw what was done for him. To me, it shows exactly why he will never be a champion and what his character is all about.

Disagree, I know you don't like Nico, but he and Patrick are the clear top 2 according to most. The lower the Canucks finish, the higher the odds of winning a top 2 pick. I agree that it's pretty fluid after that.

Which guys would you consider having a higher ceiling. I like Mittlestadt as 3rd best C in this draft. He looks like a bigger Nico to me... trades a little skill for little more size...
