For the right deal i'd do it. Not hung up on optics or in love with a draft number.

Which guys would you consider having a higher ceiling. I like Mittlestadt as 3rd best C in this draft. He looks like a bigger Nico to me... trades a little skill for little more size...

Depending on who JB has a deal in place for if he drafts BPA then trades.
If its pick say Patrick maybe get Mittelstadt+ Or Makar+.

If we had the 1st overall pick, I'd trade back. I don't see anyone as a clear cut top talent, and there are guys whose ceilings I'm more excited about than the consensus top two.

I think Necas fall out of the top 10. If he's that good, and we pick top 5, it would be a good move to trade down. I see a very similar skill set to Mittlestadt but Necas has some serious wheels.... 15 pounds less on the scale though.

The fact that Pettersson & Necas fit my late bloomer archetype model & are still top 10 talents in this draft is VERY intriguing...
