I am surprised Lefty hasn't been posting his love for how things are turning out. It's a perfect home stand. Now time to get lost on the road. |

Honest assessment is not negative.
Negative is looking to put a slant on it.
Anyone u know? ππ |

I hope there is some deja vu before the end of the year, maybe he uses his stick this time. - A_SteamingLombardi
If injured Guance plays again. Though Drew Shore has been looking earily like Guance so far. |

12 games left? All we can hope for is not getting shut out, hurting star players and drafting a high pick. #Livingthedream |

He gets paid a shlt ton of money to be the face for everything that pisses people off about the NHL. Lockout, blame Bettman. Too minor a suspension for a dirty hit, blame Bettman. Too severe a penalty for a dirty hit, blame Bettman (just joking, that never happens, except for every suspension ever give to a Canuck not named Bertuzzi). Refs make a bad call, blame Bettman. Your team loses in game 7 of the SCF, blame Bettman.
I think that Bettman is a bit of an ass myself, but I would think that about anyone that was doing his job. He's the mouthpiece for 31 filthy rich egomaniacs. He's the Sean Spicer of the NHL. I'd feel sorry for him if he wasn't paid so damn much.

In this draft especially, scouting/decision making > draft position... Couldn't care less about tanking or winning the draft lottery. |

I hearya. Outside of those is where the fun begins. Draft day wheeling & dealing might happen or not. I like listening to BObbyMac do his pick analysis. |

Disagree, I know you don't like Nico, but he and Patrick are the clear top 2 according to most. The lower the Canucks finish, the higher the odds of winning a top 2 pick. I agree that it's pretty fluid after that. |

MacKenzie doesn't watch a whole lot of junior/college/euro hockey. He just polls 10 NHL scouts and makes a consensus from their lists. And if can earn anything from the Canucks WHL scouts, there's some questionable scouts employed by NHL teams so you have to take it with a grain of salt. Plus some of these guys might even have agendas when they answer the poll....*puts on tin foil hat* |

Burrows article hit me right in the feels
I am glad we made the trade. I still feel like we got more than enough value there, but he will be missed. Players with the loyalty, heart, and drive he has don't come along very often. - djlarose
absolutely. Burrows was a rare player. Obviously canadian with his passion.
He had some stellar canuck moments.
I remember being at the game where he got his 2nd back to back hat trick.
Extremely versatile player. Under utilized under the wd regime. Really thought he'd retire a canuck. He said he wanted to. But he will see playoff action under boucher.
Wish him luck and hope he's back after he retires as a figure in van.... |

They need a coach to help them. The Sedin's are fine but they can't have 7 passes behind the net before they try to go to the net. It's going to be 1 or 2 and then moved a different way.
I would really like to see them split up. - manvanfan
and when henrik was without danny he won the scoring title and MVP. They came back together s better fresher players. I have said for years split them a few times a year. Or even within a game when things arent working. |

Bob's list is also about best player right now. He doesn't look to the future or what a team's needs are. That's why Bob just ranks his players. |

What is it you like him?
Personally im in the middle, dont blame him for stuff that isnt his realm but dont necessarily like his direction either. Realized what he has accomplished too. So its a wash.
