A little off topic but I wonder how those "star" slandering sister haters feel when the Russian Twin slaps them around. When Tryamkin learns his role and teams with Guddy and some of the new guys the stars will align a little differently. He might not enjoy fighting but he does like his teammates.

Luongo, another guy in the middle of a long term deal that got traded. Phaneuf, Filpula, pretty sure St.Louis had term when he left Tampa, Scott Hartnell waived for CBJ, Michalek waived, Bickell, Brian Campbell to go to FLA, etc.

There are plenty of examples of guys who waive with term. There also a bunch more of guys who waive and dont get extensions. Way too many to list
