Norway is the happiest country on Earth, according to a report. Why Nordic countries are doing so well #econarchive

Congrats, Pete.

All they had to do was ask Pete about AV that would have dropped them down to Syria

Anyone that doesn't think he'd help this team more then any player available next summer is misinformed also tho, would you agree? RH D, PP point man, Mac partner you couldn't hand pick a better option, unless it's Burns of course but I don't think he'd be available

As a UFA, yes. Shattenkirk will be expensive, but a better value than Yandle is proving to be for Florida. Yandle's still a mess in his own end. I think Minnesota or Nashville might want to deal a D-man before the expansion draft, and the Rangers should do one of those deals before they spend too much on Shattenkirk.

I've been seing a guy about that issue ever since he benched Zuke in the beginning of the 13/14 season. It's been a rough ride and I have had setbacks, but I'm getting there...

It's funny we as fans always worry about the money spent ahead of the NEED for a said team, I agree he will cost us but whoever we get to fill the said role Shatty would fill is going to be expensive. This particular need isn't falling from the sky, do you trade an asset for it or do you just sign it. The bottom line is the rangers need RHD desperately. LTFAs having been our thing in a long time, Richards gaborik really the last two, so it may not be in those plans anyway. Just saying, it's a need that must be filled somehow someway

I said Miller for Klingberg and Rousell as it would fill two needs. The question is who do we have to trade to get a very important piece needed for a successful team

It's too bad Ryan Ellis is having his career year this season. Maybe the Rangers could have swung a deal for him before he peaked. Nashville won't trade him now. Same for Dumba and Minnesota.

I was trying to find some news on Barzal but came across this tweet and prayed that it was referring to Gropp...only to be disappointed.

Thom Beuning‏ @ThomBeuning Mar 16

During their 3 game Barzal-less win streak none of the 13 goals were scored by @kkolesar28, teams 3rd leading goal scorer.

Ryan Ellis can put up points thought.

That's why I want the Rangers to draft this kid.

Seems to me the Rangers would be better served picking a center. Their crop of C prospects is buh-roo-tull

I'd imagine that they should approach it by taking the BPA then. That's pretty much my all-the-time draft strategy anyway. Although I would sure like to see the Islanders pick a defenseman this year.

They might end up picking Jokiharju before the Rangers get the chance to take him

edit:

unrelated: Whatever GM drafts this guy is going to be getting the next Swedish star in this league.
