I was in California and could only read about it in the papers. They didn't even televise the finals on the west coast back then. I was 13. In fact the French Connection played their entire career in Buffalo and I followed every game they played ......... and never once saw what they looked like.

You need a core that kicks ass EVERY night ..... not one out of the core but the ENTIRE 4-5 guys every night.

Once you have that (think Chicago) ............. everyone else is just complementary/interchangable pieces.

We don't have that yet ...... we are still too young.

At our age that material stuff isn't important ............. it's the memories that are cherished...... the longing for those days of youth. It's probably what keeps us as fans all these years .......... a way to hang on to what was so important so long ago.

Damn... Definetly get the chills everytime I watch that... I was very lucky enough to have seasons from 05-08 so I got to go to all the playoffs games. It's hard to pick a peak moment in the crowd but this was the most special and crazy well after the game ended for me
