Don't poke the donkey man.

(frank) it. Do you honestly not see the difference between a picking 34 and 64?

Sutter should play with the Sedins again, on a 3rd line. I know this is crazy but Gaunce or Chaput should center LE and BB
- Kaynine

Sutter, and his salary, should get traded home to Edmonton, they're looking for a third line center

Sutter + for RNH? Edm will need to shed salary next off season for McDavid.

It was anaheims second for vancouvers third that we lost for i think pedan. Not a huge gap for the picks, the other piece was a dman that has been on waivers twice since, i forget his name, so it wasnt to much of an overpayment, but 1 for 1 would of been sweet
- phyllee

People here never mention that part about the third

He has value but needs to play to strengths, face offs and PK.....and that's it. He can score 20 but it cause he doesn't pass.

It also helps that he has a pretty decent shot.

Pick (3rd) went from the Canucks to the Islanders for Pedan, then from the Islanders to Buffalo to Pittsburgh and then back to Nucks.

Traded • Nick Bonino • Adam Clendening • 2016 second round pick (#55-Filip Gustavsson) to Penguins for • Brandon Sutter • 2016 third round pick (more favorable of Canucks, Islanders picks) (#64-William Lockwood) on 2015-07-28

He is Canucks best face off guy and best PK guy , that adds TOI. Just because he is on the PP doesn't mean he is getting the puck.

He is a veteran player that will add leadership and stability to this team as they transition out of the Sedin years.

I don't get the hate from Nucker and Lefty when he does everything the team asks and still puts up decent numbers.

I just bust his balls because he's one of the main reasons the Canucks are terrible 5 on 5 and give up 200 goals a year.

That's a bs lie...nice try though

Sure....I like RNH as a stop-gap. He's a helluva lot better than Sutter

They're just reporting the data, it's not their personal opinion, the numbers say he's not very good despite his 29 points.

We can move on, we've been down this road before. I respect your opinion, I just don't share it.

First of all, it wasn't a 30 spot trade. I believe it was around 10. You said you prefer Sutter over Bonino. So the swap of 10 spots in the trade was upsetting for you? who the frank cares if we are getting the better player

Where did our 2nd go in 2016 if it wasn't traded to Pit?

He has the exact same stats as Sutter and costs a lot more. Grass is greener much?

And those numbers are not w ith Cramarossa and Megna

"Sutter is one of the main reasons the Canucks suck at 5v5." Come on Lefty

Edit. There are 1000 reasons we suck at 5v5. Megna and Willie top my list

It's not upsetting me? I just said it would of been a great trade 1 for 1... I just realized it was Gudbranson who fetched our 2nd last year and not Bonino....

I do prefer Sutter over Bonino but that doesn't mean he is better or should of held more value considering contracts and the cap trouble Pit was in.
