mittelstadt would be awesome, not a small guy but has speed, would be entertaining to watch. I wonder how many years he would stay in collage - phyllee
to be honest, I prefer anyone in the top 10 except for Rassmussen. Whoever Jim Benning picks, at whatever spot, I will trust him with it. |

Yeah Rassmussen reminds me of Virtanen, so i agree i dont want him in the top 10. mittelstadt kinda reminds me of Jeff Skinner but plays center |

Looking at the PO races & btw i consider loser points as losses.
Only the Leafs r subpar .500 & in the WC atm.
Its not going to happen but its time the SO & loser point go away.
Idc about the so-called entertainment value or the closer PO races that go on longer & hurt the TDL as a result. |

Baertschi has been worth the 2nd round pick for us. He has been great.
Who knows how Shink will turn out, but so far its been a great deal. |

I know that sounds like some good slogan to banty about for fun. Usually stay out of this rhetoric. Especially, in the pre new blog time. But seriously over a couple posts joking around with Redmile, on Bennet and Flames, it's still used?!? Sheesh tough audience.
I won't mention troll mongers Golfing and Marwood (plus their Alts) their posts say it all. They have zero modicum of civility in this subject matter. But you are a good guy. Don't need to start them up. Doesn't do the thread any good. |

Why would you consider a loss, the occurs 3 on 3 or a shootout as a loss?
Wouldn't the teams winning at 3 on 3 or the shootout regularly be the ones cheating the system? They can't win 5 on 5 but can do it in a game of pick up or a skills competition.
I think they should do 3 points for a win, 1 for a OT, shootout loss (assuming they won't get rid of the OT/SO).
Preferably I think it should be 3 for a win, 1 for a tie and no SO/OT.
Do you think that system is fair? |

It's a tough room in here to be sure I agree...but that's what makes it great as possibly the busiest and most active blog on the site. It helps that Carol is outstanding and the vast majority of posters here are very knowledgeable and committed to the Canucks being winners.
I will say that if you post smartly and aptly you will be welcomed in by the excellent crowd here...but responding to every single post some days is unnecessary and all you are accomplishing is creating fodder for stale arguments. Arguing basically for no reason.
The rest I guess is left up to you.
