Granlund scored 19 goals shooting 15.5%
His avg was 10.5% before this season so a jump of 5%.

Eriksson scored 11 goals shooting 8%
His avg was 13% before this season so a drop of 5%.

Had these guys fortunes been reversed, what would the general feeling in here be?

Granlund 7 goals shooting 5.5% at 17 min a night.
Erkisson 24 goals shooting 18% at 18.5 min a night.

If he turns out to be an NHLer, it'll be a nice little trade tree starting with waiver claim Dale Weise and ending with Gaudette

I think with shooting percentage luck has to be taken into consideration. If Granlund had 7 goals at 5.5% I would still feel good about his chances to break through the following season.

Mike Kelly from the NHL network tracks shots from the slot, which I am unable to find running totals of, but I think that is a more telling statistic and would be interested to see the individual results of the Canuck players
