No poop....I remember when they first came into the league....with THOSE jerseys....I thought ,' who can take the mighty ducks of anaheim seriously'?

They never wore those jerseys in the NHL, those were just in the movie. Also, their first season in 93-94, the Mighty Ducks finished with 71 points (5 points more than the Gretzky-led Kings with 66). The Ducks had zero star players and they showed up the defending conference champs across town. I think people had to take them seriously.

I took them seriously. Goldberg was really coming around in net and the long haired kid with the big slapshot from the point was really to be feared.

No, they shouldn't bring up Brodzinski. When he's doing well and his team is going to be counting on him in the playoffs, the last thing that you want to do is bring him up to be immersed for weeks in losing and disappointment and lose his confidence before being sent back just when his real team needs him the most.

Any fan who thinks that they'd easily be in the playoffs with Quick is fooling himself. That's just denying that the team is as bad as they seem. It's more than obvious to those not looking to make excuses that the team's problems go beyond a freak injury. After all, if a team really is "devastated" by a single injury, then it's not that good of a team in the first place. It should be obvious, with their losing record since Quick's return and how it didn't magically give them the "confidence" to start scoring, that their problems go beyond bad luck.

Easily? No. Better shape? Yes and most likely a higher probability they would have made the playoffs

Well, you said that they'd be in the playoffs "hands down," which I take to mean the same as "easily." Naturally, they'd have had a higher probability with Quick, but that's not what you were arguing or I was arguing against. If that's all that you meant, OK, but you were more definitive, which is what I was responding to.

Hey Regulate, love your work on LAKI! Hope you comment here more!

They should bring up big MacD as well Would love to see that but yeah, the worry would be too much too soon and shred his confidence.
