The expansion draft is a wrinkle in the offseason that is going to lead to some different things happening. The Flyers signed Neuvirth to meet exposure requirements. That wasn't confirmed, but I think it is the only thing that makes sense.

Honestly, from here there are only 2 scenarios that will tell us what the two sides truly feel about each other. 1. They protect Neuvirth and/or 2. Steve Mason signs elsewhere without reports of contract negotiations

I don't think Mason has much of a reason to want to be back, but it wouldn't surprise me if he did come back, especially if Neuvirth were to get picked for some reason

That's what Carolina did this year. Got a hell of a lot younger but are in almost exactly the same spot they were at this point last year as far as points go.

Results-wise it looks the same, but it feels WAY more positive when you only have one defenseman on the roster older than 25.

yeah. the canes strike me as a team on the rise with a lot of positive assets in the organization. if they get that young front line center they'll be sitting pretty, although admittedly that can be said of a few organizations.

From what I understand, it's not if Rocket League gets made for the Switch, it's when. Rocket League is low key the best competitive game, period.

VdV is last on the team in 5 on 5 GF% in his Flyers career besides Gordon who played 13 games here. And he gets easy minutes. Our 4th line is continually outscored by the bottom 6 forwards of other teams.

How about Voracek do something other then skate fast and to the outside? Maybe Gostisbehere be a little better in his won zone. Filppula play better. Giroux have more impact at 5v5.

I have my opinion on how much of a difference it will make. We won't know for sure until they try. I do know that they've tried everything else BUT move those two...and none of it has worked.

But hey!!! Maybe giving them a playmaker like Konecny on their line it will really spark them!!! Give me a break

I can't buy a console for just 1 game, especially a game I don't have time for. We'll see in the future. I need new hockey gear too, so I think that's where I'd spend that money.

Andromeda got really bad reviews, all things considered and the hype it had. Supposedly there were production issues too behind the scenes.

I have Overwatch. I really like it and played it for a couple months, but my friends stopped playing it after, and with online games, as they go I go. Zenyatta is my guy btw.

I wouldn't use the term mistreated. I do think the coach clearly favored Neuvirth over him when he showed he was the better goalie.

I agree even though it may be the best game I've ever played.

The Switch is a cool concept though, and works rather well. I move around a lot, and taking the xbox or PC is a pain in the nuts so I was sold on this concept rather easily. Being able to bang out 10 minutes here and there also does wonders. It basically gives you time to play games that you never knew you had.

I'd probably still wait until the end of the year though. New Mario should be out by then, and you could probably grab a discounted Switch + Zelda bundle on Black Friday.

If Rocket Leagues gets made for this thing, it would be worth it 10x over. One of the few multiplayer games I always come back to.
