The greatest single player game I've ever played is Half Life 2 and its expansions. Some are right up there, but that's my gold standard. It was so ahead of its time and game changing that it holds up today ridiculously well too.

Absolutely loved that game! My first experience with a turned base strat game. Really bummed there weren't any further progressions of it other than the one expansion. Something went down with Sid and the company who produced it...

This weekend I just played a best of 7 series in NHL 94 on a Retro Pi setup against a good friend.

Lead a raid guild then played in a WW raid guild in EQ2 before it sucked.
