Well Murray hasn't given Bylsma a vote of confidence, only to say the coaching staff will be evaluated. To me that isn't a huge endorsement at this point and Murray has to realize that Bylsma's system doesn't work with these players.

And Eliotte Friedman and EJ Hradek were on NHL network yesterday and Friedman even acknowledged that the system isn't getting the max out of the talent and it's not a winning or losing question but the system or a philosophy of the system. Kinda like a square peg into a round hole.

To me what they do with Bylsma is the biggest off season question.

Fair enough. I would like to see what he does this off season. A trade for a dman before the expansion draft, move out the dead weight, the draft and free agency will be very important. He needs to fix the D and let's see what he does.

And that would be short sighted by the organization in my view but it could be the case. There will be better candidates to hire in the off season then there will be in Nov.
