@7th idk if Liljgren or Mittelstadt will be there to pick.
So I'd pick Necas prolly - Nighthawk
Some mock drafts have Liligren going top three or four to Jersey or Colorado as they desperately need defence. |

Problem is there are not many big name D in the second round so you might be commiting to three forwards in the top 60 picks and not paying attention to your D |

Might be an interesting draft where teams go off the board and draft for need with not much confidence in the rankings. |

Most people here don't like it but I do - VANTEL
I refer to that site also but find many picks in strange places.
Eg Makar 14th & Mittelstadt 16th |

I don't think there are any game changers this year at forward. I think there are nice players but second liners. I would rather the skilled Dman and a big forward like Ratcliffe and go after your Center next year with the first overall and 31 st. |

I don't think there are any 'obvious' game changers but you never know. |

I don't subscribe to the idea that you must draft a position you haven't drafted yet... Take the BPA. I like Gadjovich in the 2nd because he works hard & provides a ton of net presence. |

There absolutely will be, just gotta find em. Did you think Brad Marchand would be a "game changer" when he was drafted third round? Or David Krejci, Schwartz, Tarasenko, Kuznetsov? Or Jamie Benn in the fifth round? There's a kid or two out there you've just gotta put the work into finding him and get a bit lucky.
All these mock drafts have Vegas picking third, which is highly highly unlikely with the lottery the way it is now. |

Tippett i can see as a 1st line winger.
Patrick, Mittelstadt 1 C's maybe Necas also.
Vilardi, Glass, Pettersen 2 C's
Makar a PP QB
Top 2-3 D Liljgren Foote
Top 4 D Makar, Hague, Valimaki & possibly a handful of others |

You are right but I was referring more to last year you had a clear cut three . McDavids draft you had a clear cut two.
Don't get me wrong I don't think this is a weak draft , I just think there are no obvious choices . |
