what? what happened to Megna?
- CanuckDon

I thought I saw online that he suffered an upper body injury and was out 1-2 weeks.

Just luvin the LAK out of the PO's. Many bad contracts & they r overhyped.
Sutters shelf life is up very soon. His coaching style is boring & ancient.

blame the GM, not the coach.

I was pretty sure Calgary was our farm team, they draft and develop and we call them up and give them 2nd round picks to start the cycle over again

Unrelated...the more I think about the draft the more leery I am of Patrick. I hope we somehow land Nico, Mittelstad, Pettersson or Makar. Interesting that Friedman mentioned NHL teams are taking note of his groin problems as well. I have been stating Nico would go first for 5 months and I truly think it will happen. Patrick has plenty of red flags.

Interesting...I haven't heard this. Does that mean Willie will resign?

Don't quote me as I am too lazy to research at the moment...but I believe Patrick has had 3 operations in the last 4 seasons. My brother has groin issues and he is on his 6th surgery and he has essentially quit all sports. In some respects it's more concerning than concussion history as he won't get very far if he is skating at 80% in the pros

I will try and see if I can find the post.

Baertschi - Horvat - Boucher
Goldobin - Sutter - Shore
Sedin - Sedin - Chaput
Cram - Labate - Skille

These are the lines I wouldn't mind to see in the last X amount of games.

Wonder who replaces Megna

- Codes1087

We don't have a Gretzky waiting in the wings so I'll answer that he is irreplaceable. That is to say no one man can ever replace the Megmaman

It depends on the kind and surgery/recovery. Kesler and Lou both had groin surgery. Kes took a season to recover but hasn't had issue since.

Sometimes guys just aren't good enough to make one team but can score almost 20 goals on a lesser team

Further to the Patrick discussion, it appears he has been injured in every single season dating back to 2012-13, at the very least. If anyone is interested, a poster on HF does his best to document his injury history below. To summarize, reoccurring shoulder and groin injuries are definitely a major concern.

I don't post line ups often, but when I do, I make sure the Sedins play sheltered minutes, the kids get their playing time, and Megna isn't a part of the line up
