Oh yeah. Every fan base does that. We just had a load of Bruins fans explaining to us the league is rigged for the Leafs making the playoffs. They've failed badly in the last decade.

Agreed. I'm fine with Risto being suspended, he can own up to his actions. But for Crosby to not even get 2 minutes for a two-hand spear to O'reillys boys from behind, that's beyond ridiculous. He should have received a game for how unsportman-like it was. Great message the NHL sends to kids... if you do something even questionable, you're suspend. But, if you're a star on a team we like to see succeed, then go ahead and use your stick as a weapon, and all four of our officials on the ice will look the other way and even cheat on face-offs for you.

Most of the time in the scrums you're seeing little jabs to the stomach and not with the stick. Plus the ever favorite face wash.

Most players have enough respect to not spear someone in the junk or at all unless really provoked.

I've only see one player spear someone in the almost 3 seasons of pro hockey I've been working

Whatever it's not like we're in the playoffs or anything it's really not that big of a deal

Wasn't worth 3 games. 1 game at most. Crosby should have gotten a game for tapping RORs ball sack. Not even a penalty.

hope he has good dental. And that wasn't even done on purpose and Kane got a 4 min penalty for it
