There's so much uncertainty about where the Islanders could even be playing in the next couple years that it makes them hoping he chooses to stay on his own like Stamkos did a lot more risky.

PU did fall back to Earth the second half of the season he was on Pace over a hundred points

I was very disappointed in his second half maybe he's dealing with an injury

Murray likes Asplund to make the team this year, so 2018 isn't much of a stretch. Pu is top 10 OHL scoring and looking real nice. Next year in Rochester, and if he adapts to the pro game, then bottom six in 2018 isn't all that much of a leap. Same path Bailey and Bap are on, and Pu has more scoring upside.
