A soon to be 23yr old playing against kids who is lucky if he can be a bottom pairing D. Sorry but not worth a contract unless Utica signs him IMO - Nighthawk
I was just asking . Bob Mac was mentioning Canucks have interest in him. I know nothing about him but as you can see it won't stop some on here from twisting things.
I asked does anyone know anything about him and now apparently I love the guy. That is typical on here. |

I think Boeser starts the one and done tournament tonight . He could be a Canuck by next week. |

Why throw him into this train wreck? |

I'm going to watch a few of the rockets playoff games. Can't watch Friday (own game) but I agree from what I've seen. It's a bold call but he does seem better than Webber at this level. Maybe not the shot but everything else. Been watching the rockets since 03-04 - canucksfan1944
I would love Foote . His old man was a star. I can see much like Tkachuk the old man taught him to be stud. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.
I would think that Foote OJ Tryamkin Stecher Tanev would give you eight years of solid D .
We have a good crop of forwards already as much as the naysayers complain. We just need to let them develop now. |

It will be the same train wreck next year and probably the year after. |

JB would either trade down or acquire another first? Both seem unlikely, but... |

I would say trade Edler ( if willing ) for your prospect center.
Everyone is saying pick this guy , no this guy. There is no true standout . |

I think we will draft 6 or 7 but even if we draft 4 who is the game changer? |

Why throw him into this train wreck? - Marwood
It seems like more NCAA guys are doing AHL try-outs this year than normal.
I dont think it will matter much but it is puzzling that a playoff bound team like Ottawa doesnt want to burn a year off White's contract to have him in their lineup, whereas the eliminated Canucks want to get Boeser in for the last 10 games |

I'd be ok with Foote if we fall in the 8-10 range. Too much of a reach otherwise |

More likely the last 6 or 7 games.

2pm today. Wish I was off today. Would love to watch it. BU is pretty good this year. Also, would get to see Keller. 42pt in 29games this year.. Another Kane/Marner |

Under the new lottery rules the 7 lowest finishing teams have higher odds of moving back one spot than staying put.
From what I saw last year, i'm not optimistic for a high pick. So if we pick 7 or 8 why not trade down? That pick won't be helping the team anytime soon anyway. |

Not a good idea to bring him in for the remaining meaningless games to suffer a stupid injury or headshot.
Let him bulk up and get in NHL shape over summer and we'll see him at camp. |

I'm pretty sure we can only fall back a maximum of 3 spots. |

No, but I bet he wants to burn this year of his contract. Plus, gm's might eat the year just to make sure they don't get vesey'd. By all accounts Boeser won't pull a Vesey. But, it's good to get the contract done.

Yup. Not to mention the turmoil of a coach on his last legs and uncertainty over the expansion draft. |
