is this old news...but did you see that Oilers had a deal for Halak in place at the deadline? - DDM-Coga
where u see dis?
wonder what we were giving back? must of been a significant dump.
want no part of that extra year. glad it didnt work out.
besides, might be good for lb to see what a playoff atmosphere looks like.
and maybe get in another game down the stretch. i say give him the avs tomorrow. (still cant figure why they didnt give him the start last night)

Poor bastard. - Wildschwein
I get he's had some rough luck and has some great skills, but how long do we continue to call a guy who has never had a 30 goal season and only two 60 point seasons "one of the best LW in the game"
Palmieri is about to hit 30 goal 55+ point seasons back to back on a poopty Devils squad.

Hall is a very unusual case. He certainly looked like like the best LW between 12/14, but before and after that he seems merely "good" as opposed to elite.
7 years in and I'm still not sure what to think of him.
Palmieri has been a pleasant surprise. I certainly didn't think he'd have this sort of impact after watching him in Anaheim those first few years.

Because the coaches are idiots and never listen to us. LB has a good enough shutout streak going that he should get the start on Saturday. They're almost as good as in .....well in the real world. In EKS world through kings are a real threat as they are poised to win out their remaining 9 games.

And in Ek's world the Oil always lose in the first round. I take comfort that he is predicting such.

If we drop that to the last 5 seasons, Hall is 4th among LW's in points. Lucic is 14th, but played 44 more games than Hall during that time, too. - BINGO!

I don't expect the Oilers to make it out of the first round myself. I just get a kick out of how teams that have played sub .250 hockey in the last couple weeks, are going to go on a .950 run in the last 10 or so games of the season in his predictions.
