Both mid round picks in historically good draft years....this year is historically poor - Pres.cup
Problem with that rational is that this draft class has yet to be viewed 'historically'. Sure it doesn't stack up well but then again, many pundits claimed the 2012 draft was going to be very strong at the time as well...

Burn a year for 4 home games
Yup sounds like something we would do. - classic321
Get him onto his second contract before he starts putting 40 goals a year up.
Sounds good to me.
Hope ea includes him in the next update, took forever to get Demko in the game.
On that note I'll have to retire my made up BB, the franchise right winger who leads the league in goal every year.

Cap Management and cost control and the more space the better. Never know when the key players become available UFA's or taking on contracts is a benefit
JT though not a good example is who we could entice if the roster in place is coming on gangbusters. When or if we can get back to needing only 1-2 key pieces is when big UFA contracts will prolly make sense.
Our goals next year should prolly be team D & upping the PP into respectability.
Everything else can be on its own pace as the talent can dictate.
Speed & skill & more speed & skill is 100% drafting & developing.
The farm should be getting better every year.
