Yeah, they showed the 2 seconds after the GIF ended at the end of the period there, no question. |

For all the doom and gloom and sh*t we talk all week, what could have been if Jack doesn't blow out his ankle on the eve of opening night.
You can't tell me this team wouldn't have been 5-7 points better at the very least, which would put them right in the mix for a playoff spot. - The_Inkwell
Tough to say, since they're not exactly tearing it up with him...but I'd lean that way that it would be more of a psychological thing as well. |

Defend Bylsma still? - Der Kaiser
He's coaching a 5-2 lead so far (I think he's got credit for 4 primary assists and 3 secondary too)...what's to knock??? |

No. He was told to stand behind the bench and not to open his mouth. |

LOL you beat me to it but you cut off the leaf fan in second row. He seems genuinely pissed. |

Isn't the outdoor antenna great?
Interestingly, Elliotte Friedman had a chance to rebut that and didn't. |

We're celebrating the great result achieved by loosening play and permitting the D to play more freely.
We note that the system employed all the way through the season has focused on packing the d in and emphasizing their Defensive responsibility.
The team turns to this system NOT through some strategic creativity or innovative experiment, but rather because the league suspends the guy who is our best offensive D-Man, rumored to have defensive deficiencies.
Why is the failure to try this earlier NOT a shortcoming of the coach? |

Beyond great. The broadcast and picture quality is amazing. Far superior to MSG |

I don't know if this is systematic or the team coming out incredibly motivated to play. As I said earlier, I'm not sure this team can maintain this style over a lengthy period of time, with or without Ristolainen. The next two games will be an interesting indicator when the atmosphere when the buildup isn't quite the same. |

We're beating a team who's been loose defensively all year, because our superstar is a superstar and is dominating tonight, and because Tyler Ennis remembered how to play hockey, at least for this game.
They didn't change their philosophy because one guy is going to miss 3 games. |

It has been suggested all through the season he has been using his people improperly. This may be our opportunity to really see |

There's no question this defense has been more active than it has for most, if not all of the season, though. They've been incredibly aggressive. The question is whether Ristolainen's suspension had anything to do with that. |
