Lehner is the immediate goalie like Tyrod is the immediate QB. I bet we sign Lehner to a two or three year bridge deal. - bluengold12
Call me crazy this sounds like a plan. |

I read 3 mocks done this week
1. foligno
2. gorges (I laughed)
3. ullmark - homiedclown
Foligno will 100% be protected or traded. That's a joke
Gorges is not out of the ordinary considering he only has a year left and as I said before McPhee owes Murray
Ullmark I could see except there are much better goalies that will be available for them

the only reason i could see them taking ullmark is to avoid taking someone else. |

If this is true, then I don't see why he wouldn't want to test the market. What's the upside of him signing with us? - sskkoo1
No team will start him in NHL. It's not like Vesey where he will be a big contributor in the NHL right away. He will be the guaranteed starter workhorse in Rochester next year and likely get a max contract with great bonuses. That's why I think he'll sign. |

probably explore his options to see what the most "direct route" is but at the end of the day its going to be about where he wants to play in general. |

I think Murray would rather keep Ullmark and use him as the back up in Buffalo. I believe he will relay this to George. |

This is what I'm thinking. At least, this is what I'd be thinking if I were Petersen. |

Agreed but also why it wouldnt surprise me if they wound up with foligno or girgensons.
They get a 48 hour window to negotiate with RFAs on that protect list and if they sign one then that team avoids the expansion draft? something along those lines i think. |

Murray will not lose Foligno or Girgensons for nothng. Unless Girgensons goes to KHL |

this isnt losing them for nothing though. Vegas is in a position where they can overpay short term for RFA's. TM isnt going to offer that same kind of ice time and money to either of them with replacements available. |

You also have to consider how they'd must choose 30 guys,
And can only have a 23 man NHL roster...
so they're going to choose some guys that can play for their AHL squad
From us...
Someone like Ullmark or Carrier would likely be more attractive to them than Moulson or Gorges |

they've got enough open spots to protect carrier i think? either way, devils advocate would be they have to get to the cap floor no? Gorges for one year probably works for them tbh. |

I don't know how many times I have to say it. Vegas isn't offer sheeting or screwing over Buffalo. Murray basically came out and said it on WGR. We're not keeping Girgensons most likely. I'd like to trade Foligno too, to be honest but he likes him as a 3rd/4th line energy guy. |

Sabres game on Hockey Night in Canada tonight.
I'm one of the few people that like when I can watch the game on a feed other than MSG. |

Are you serious? Unless its a classy one like Dallas I have zero interest. When I had the ticket and lived out of the area and had to listen to complete imbeciles from Philadelphia, Boston, Tampa, Pittsburgh, NY and most importantly Boston and that piece of crap Edwards I wanted to throw something at my TV |

According to a draft sim I used, it looks like Carrier has to play a certain number of games this season to be eligible to be exposed. I'd keep him off the roster personally. |

CBC's product, even after the Sportsnet takeover, which degraded the quality quite a bit, is still superior to MSG's. Part of it is because it is a national broadcast, and therefore a bigger budget, but MSG's content looks like it was produced in somebody's basement.
That being said, some of the local broadcasts like you mention above, can be brutal as well. |

I don't care about the production. It's the other local jackasses I can't stand

say it as often as you like because im not talking about an offer sheet. its a negotiation window where vegas has a chance to sign some RFAs that arent getting protected. It may come down to wanting to keep a guy like carrier over girgs because of cost. |
