I'll answer this one for you, but unfortunately I am limiting myself to just replying to one of your posts per day so this is your one for today. Enjoy:

Stetcher is 5'10"(probably even a tad shorter) and 190 lbs, that's far from a skinny kid. If he was an 6 feet tall, he'd be around 200+ lbs.

Juolevi is 6'3" and 180-185 lbs, tall/lanky/skinny is how anyone who watches hockey regularly would describe him. If he was Stetcher's height with that same ratio, he'd be tiny.

That's from a down low shot so it should make him look bigger. That look stockey? No. Muscle though adds to weight and he is a strong kid. But you had to make a pompous ass comment in your response. Like you are some superior know it all.

As for OJ no one is denying he's lean and needs to add strength. Guess what he's doing over the summer. He's at the right age to pop on some muscle with a couple months of diet and training.

JV has more time before making a premature call.
His game has more to offer than anything Shink can offer.
Still JV could bust out & maybe only end up a 3/4th liner.
Shink is not top 6 hence an AHLer lifer type

I think the whole top 6 buttom 6 thing is being phased out ...it used to be skill guys in top 6 and grinders/checkers in bottom 6 ...now it's just are you better than 11 other forwards

Yeah, I remember watching this when it got uploaded. Way too much floating and didn't look good offensively at all. He's had more good games than bad recently(by his standards) so hopefully he's trending upward.
- Nucker101

He seems in a fog or just downtrodden & won't say so.
Possibly going thru the change he is not top dawg.
Welcome to the pros & just another draftee if u let others play hungrier.
I'm suspecting he is not brightest & slow to learn.
With his skill set he has many tools to utilise.

I guess we watched different games, I've seen teams cycle the puck against him with ease at times and also overpower him in front of the net, in pretty much 80% of the games i've watched. Yes the OHL has bog boys, but it's not nearly the same as the NHL.

I agree that mentally and skill-wise, he's ready.

I'm still amazed that a large chunk of people think he's such a dominant force in the OHL and that sending him back is blasphemy

- Nucker101

Yeah i guess the major difference is I'm watching games in person. Obviously, You don't get to see as much on TV, so yeah he have different points of view. I've seen players cycle the sh*t outta Brent Burns, what does that have to do with being strong enough to play in the NHL? Of course some players are going to overpower him in front of the net, Ive seen Tram lose battles there, who cares? You're examples are a small aspect of having anything to do with being ready for the NHL. The point is, he has the majority of tools to play now, the rest he'll learn with time, like every other NHLer in the history of the game. And BTW, he doesn't need to be a dominate force in the OHL to be successful in the NHL. This kid isn't the next Nick Lidstrom, lower your expectations.

I refer more so to TOI.
Bottom 3 r cap compliant type energy players.
Top 9 r all skating speed & 200' players
Top 6 r the go 2 players for PP & scoring & late game come from behind time.
Top 9 at any time can be juggled ideally if needed.

My PP thoughts for playing out the string....

Sven & Boucher tried out as the 4th F on each unit.
Reason is i've not much confidence with our D.

Where did I say they were targeting him? jesus man

I said they're going to expose him. They probably don't value him as some guy who needs to be in the NHL lineup/roster. Basically he's irrelevant in this discussion.

7 dmen is pretty standard to have for teams. Biega/random AHL'er as the #8 guy with prospects like OJ/Subban/Briebois in camp. Nothing there that screams "they have to move someone!"

I don't see this as some sort of an overload. It's actually a pretty mediocre group unless the young guys take another step forward and/or Gudbranson plays better than he did. An overload is more like this:

Hamhuis
Salo
Bieksa
Edler
Ehrhoff
Ballard
Rome
Alberts

They wont protect Sbisa seeing they can only protect 3

I know it is an average D core that is why I want to draft a Dman . You said it earlier they take longer to develop , so why are you pushing for second rate centers to be drafted?

Short n Sweet of itπŸ‘πŸ‘

Watching Tanev closely all game also. I notice he is slow to headman the puck.
Too often when a F is free he passes when they r getting a man on. Its continuous.

I just think the idea that one player has a better chance of being an nhler over another based on his size is fading ...your either good enough to play or your not ...teams have more and more skilled 4th liners over guys who can come in and bang

I agree & its rare i talk of size as in i did not in my post u quote.
Compete levels & speed & skill top my list. Size can be beaten by smarts & energy.
Size is only as good as its surrounding skills & if used as an advantage.

Give me a Bo or Bryan Trottier type player anyday & as many as possible

I have seen all the posting on here and it is hard to find 3 people that think the same.

One of the few consistents on here is that Cal Foote will be a very good all around Dman.

I think if you drafted him your top four Dmen in three years would be Tryamkin Stecher OJ and Foote. I would be very happy going forward with that 4

A player who is not on loan from Europe CAN NOT be sent to play in Europe, they must be returned to their CHL team.(Juolevi).
- Reubenkincade

Exactly CHL rules apply to OJ. Why self proclaimed know it all Nucker's knows words start to smell. It's Nucks roster or junior for OJ next season. Why many have said if he's ready keep him.

The season is long and plenty of options and injuries occur. Nothing wrong with junior. No he hasn't mastered it. No one does. Even Mcjesus was shut down. But believe he can develop more staying up next season.
