i will say that BPA is a subjective term . You can poll 10 different scouts on who the best player is at 3 and you'll probably get 10 different answers, so who is the BPA then? Or do you factor in franchise needs ? then are you taking BPA or franchise necessity as your go to factor?

IMO BPA and Franchise need are intertwined and that is where a vision for the future team is a necessity

Worth trading up for thats for sure. If CBJ gives us their 1st and SJS win the cup we can get him easily. Otherwise I doubt we trade up to snag him. If we pick inside the top 5 he isn't worth it.

BPA is not the same as drafting for need.

BPA is strictly best player available. The NFL does a great job leading up to the draft with player rankings. Rarely is the first QB off the board BPA, but because it's such an important position it's often reached for because of need.

what if he becomes the best dman in this draft? heres the thing they all have talent but do they have the will to be the best they can be? take bo for an example now I am not saying foote has that I don't know him but JB will find out by interviewing him and studying his background and see if hes overcome adversity to make him better, that's what he found in bb.
