Not trying to be a d!ck, but what's not to understand? Its an absolute perfect way to measure who is doin what with the ice time they are given.

If Kane scored 1.80 points per 60 playing 19 minutes a night, while someone else scores say 2.0 points per 60 in 15 minutes per game, the case can be made that the 2nd player is actually giving you more, even if it's not represented in just overall goals and assists.

You should watch a little bit more than just looking at your fancy stats, you know get a different perspective.
