A lot of speed limits haven't changed since the 70s, while cars have gotten much better and safer. I don't buy that you need to travel 65 mph on a highway in order to be "safe" Just like when the light turns yellow right in front of me because it is on some predetermined timer. I don't care to sit at it while I wait for no one else to go through because it is only "safe" when the light turns green. PA actually changed the law that allows you to go through red lights (not when you damn well please, but when you think it's malfunctioning) - YuenglingJagr
Yes, if you come to a light, there is no traffic coming through the light and you feel that it is malfunctioning, you can go. But you'd better damn well make an effort to wait, because a cop could still pull you over if you don't wait arbitrarily long enough. |

The Prius was a joke....I would never (sorry MOAT ). My dad and grandfather collect Studebakers. I collect "older" BMW's. I have owned/own a Jeep Cherokee, Civic Si, and a Hyundai Santa Fe Sport, as well. - YuenglingJagr
I couldn't get my wife and son and his buddy to a hockey game if I had to load them and their gear into a Santa Fe. My wife looked at one of those last year. |

So far it fits my gear nicely haha. It isn't the biggest car, but we only have 1 kid so far. It is much bigger than her previous Mini Convertible |

Driving, traffic, cars, goalies...
it's been a casual afternoon after a useless late season win. |

Yep. It's not too far out of the way from PA if you take the Commodore Barry, or take 295 off of the Walt Whitman. |

I don't (frank) with that. We are OCMD people. It isn't much further, you just stay on 95 until you hit the 1 at Christiana Mall, that'lll take you past Dover and get you to 113. I prefer to hang back on 50 before coming in at 90. Less traffic... |

Does anyone remember that last Islanders game where Jason Chimera scored on the rush due to Ghost and Gudas coming off the bench. Both play the right side, so Gudas missed his man? Same thing on the Kyle Turris goal. Manning and Del Zotto are left side defensemen. One took out the other. We're any of you hugged by this?

I like Ocean City, NJ, personally. Dry town so you don't get the bumhole high school kids that you get at places like Wildwood, very family friendly. Great boardwalk, great food, and it's right by my wife's grandparents which has made it even more appealing since we started dating. |

I didn't feel very hugged by it.
Things like the Chimera one happen when there's a change during a rush. Last night wouldn't have been an issue if MDZ didn't take Manning's legs out (or doesn't go prone). But if you're insinuating that it would be preferable to have a 3L/3R set of D, I agree. |

That reads a little bit like you're dating your wife's grandparents
My in-laws have a condo in OCMD, so I don't have much choice in which place we go to |

Burnout headlight game.
When you see one, hit the roof of the car. First person to do so gets a point.
Each one means the other person takes off a piece of clothing. |

Another good one: My road is a 35, and there's a lot of kids under 10 (including my daughter). I'm on it for 1.1 miles, and I'm doing 35, not a mile over. About a year ago, some dude just could not handle that. Rode my ass the whole way, lights flashing, leaning on his horn. I didn't care. I finally turn into my driveway, he rolls down the passenger side window to give me the middle finger and curse me out.
At this point, I jump out of my car ready to pound the poop out of this dude. As soon as I get out and start coming towards him, he peels out and races down the road (losing control and swerving).
(frank) people. I guess I'm the bumhole for obeying the speed limit on a road that has a lot of young children on it. - jmatchett383
