I'll have 23 years in June at the same company and I have only been late 1 time. Power went out, alarm never went off.
I was still only 12 minutes late for my 5am start time - 22sabresQ
impressive, and also a little lucky...I remember driving to my first day of college...left a bit early, but got a flat tire...I was late
I cross train tracks to get to work...sometimes I leave a little later for work due to circumstances...hit a very long train one day...was late for work...

Anyone else think that Sam might be feeling a bit discouraged being in Jack's shadow? He's a 2nd overall pick, 1st offensive player of the board in his draft class, and the guy who comes in the very next year takes the spotlight. Regardless if Sam deserves praise for his play or not, at 20 years old, I can see him having a little chip on his shoulder.

After he staggers upstairs into his bedroom with a farm animal under his arm, he says "This is the pig I've been banging for the last 8 years." His wife shrieks and says "How could you!" The drunken farmer says "Be quiet I wasnt talking to you!"

maybe a little bit, but I think he's smart enough to see just what kind of talent jack is and not get bogged down by stuff like that...

There is certainly a chance of that. If he is smart though he'll quickly remember he wouldn't be "the man" on really any team in the NHL. Hopefully the shadow being cast by a friend diminishes the negative.

i suppose it depends on personality, but being a highly regarded 20 year old in the NHL is no reason to get jealous or jaded. He's on a team with several other good players. Plus, he has Evander Kane to teach him how to hit and quit playboy models.
What's there to not love?
I almost feel like BOGO was a salary dump we took as a favor. But if thats the case, something/someone shouldnt have gone the other way. I almost feel like it should have just been Staff and Meyers for Bogo and an injured player Wpeg wanted nothing to do with anymore.
However, we did offload a long NTC in Meyers.
Kulikovs injuries make him look like crap. He would have been a perfectly serviceable 3/4 had he never got injured. GM's dont have crystal balls. Murray had no idea he was going to get messed up THAT much this year.
Georges should be a 6/7 and I dont think he ever has been the entire time he has been here. Biggest problem with our D is that guys are constantly playing more than they should be.
I also like some the kids that we have brought up lately as well as Guhle. We may have a few possibilities there plus may be someone in FA this summer or a trade? Frankly, I feel like the #1 thing we need to get rid of this year is Bogo and his contract. - seedy
Nonsense! Murray is the head of the team, he should have the head of rink maintenance on speed dial asking about loose bench doors, hell, he should just check all the hinges/latches on all the doors with rink access just to make sure we don't get another Schoenfeld situation where they go through the Zamboni doors.
That's almost like blaming your GM for this happening:
Haven't read it yet, but Okposo said it happened to him earlier this year where he was a few minutes late for something and sat for a period and now Reinhart was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Good write up Mr. Pach. However, i think it's time to move on from "Rhino-gate". Nothing to see here. - SabreWest
Agreed. Policy was set. If you don't enforce your policy you lose respect and no one takes you seriously. Circumstances caused him to dress and sit. If we're fighting for a playoff spot maybe he watches from the press box for the next game.

I think the exact same thing happens if we're in a playoff race. Nashville suspended Radulov and one of the other Russians, AK47 had a brother that also played when they both played in Montreal. WTF is his name? Anyway they suspended both of those guys for a playoff game because they were out past curfew.
You can't set the rule and then bend it the next day. No matter the, in the realm of reality, circumstances.
Edit: Andrei Kostitsyn! Maybe it was Sergei, I forget which one got sent to Nashville, but one of them.
