Yeah, they changed it up from the comics and dragged it out quite a bit. Still a good season though - chilliard77
Now you feel my pain of Batman vs. Superman .( Comics etc)

I understand. I know a lot of people who follow the comics and the books, so I get the displeasure of how the story drifts away. I'm a huge reader and writer myself.
I did love how Andrew Lincoln sold the, "You're already dead" scene to Negan. He made me believe that. I loved every minute of that, but I'm also a Negan fan. - sskkoo1
I thought the show was actually ahead of the comics now? The only info I (care to)get about the show is from here, so you'll forgive me if I'm a bit fuzzy. |

I get that. Books are always better than the movie. There have been very few books that have sucked a lot more than their film adaptation. Forest Gump and Jurassic Park coming to mind as two books that were perfected as movies, but were terrible books. - sskkoo1
Never read Forrest Gump. But I thought Jurassic Park was a good book. I liked what they, mostly, did with the movie, ninja T-Rex aside, but I thought the book was good. Not his best, but good.
They made a really good movie out of The Hunt for Red October too. Doesn't come close to comparing to the book, but it's still a great movie. But McTiernan made some great movies in the 80's early 90's.
Check this run out:
Predator '87
Die Hard '88
The Hunt for Red October '90
Medicine Man '92(ok, must've been some contractual thing, but it was watchable)
Last Action Hero '93(Charles Dance as the bad guy, holds a special place in my heart, saw it in theaters with my dad)
Die Hard With a Vengeance '95
The 13th Warrior '99(good book, meh movie)
The Thomas Crown Affair '99(a solid movie, but starting to tail off)
::cough:: Rollerball '02(where the trouble started, not only was it God awful, but he literally went to prison because of it.)
Basic '03(Underrated)
Then he dropped off the radar and got into some weird poop, a prison sentence later and he's been linked to a ton of stuff, but nothing's panned out for him. Just on his first 3 movies, instant classics each, you'd think he'd get some concrete offers. |

Ok, I don't know what I'm thinking about then. GoT I know was getting close, but it'll be wrapped up before they would have gotten there. |

Damn millennials - GERBE!!!75PTS
That's just a re-skinned 123. Or 123 is just a re-skinned HD online. One or the other.
Why do they keep making remakes no one asked for? (frank)ing CHiPs! And Baywatch is coming this summer, though I may see that, I won't pay to see it, but I'll see it. |

This past season of GOT is ahead of the last book. This coming season probably will be as well |

Ok, then that's what I'm thinking of. Haven't read the books, and I'm a season behind watching. I'll probably watch it over the next few months. |

I really think most of you should stop giving advice on what I might enjoy.
If you don't care about Compher, ignore the post.
I mentioned that Nuevirth collapsed on the ice, is that some form of piling on? Or maybe that he's a former Sabre I figured some might be interested - sbroads24

Jurassic Park book was full of some many plot holes and focused too much on the park's computer system, at times I thought I was reading an instruction manual for a VCR. But, you're right with the ninja T-rex, that was a big plot hole. The engineer (Henry Wu) said the T-rex only needs to only eat once a week, but the darn thing at like 10 times in the course of two days in the book, and it stalked Dr. Grant and the kids relentlessly as if it had a personal vendetta against them. The animal had its pick of the park, but it wasted its time and energy on three people when it could have snacked on another dino and gone back to bed. A second major hole was that somehow raptors breed from 4 locked away in a pen to 30 and nobody ever noticed. You would think that it would be kind of hard to miss 30 raptors running loose around the park and they somehow don't become an issue until Dr. Grant and the kids get there. But, the list of plot holes goes on and on. |

I have not watched him play, but going by what you have said about his quality, won't he cost a ton with his cap hit only being $4.5M for the next three years, which would be the season when he turns 30? |

He's having his best year in like 5 or 6 years and has 40 points.
We have so many guys that are just decent, and then you have Eichel - sbroads24
So what would u wanna do then?
Trade Kane....
What's gen gonna get if he's just a "decent" player?
Hall ONLY got Larson, remember?
If we trade away our "decent" players,
we are left with Eichel and crap
I'd rather have these decent players, like O'Reilly, Kane, Okposo, Reinhart
Without them,
Our top6 looks like:
Foligno-Eichel-Ennis
Moulson-Girgensons-Gionta/Bailey
We aren't trying to tank anymore!
Are we?
