It doesn't have to matter at all. However from his comments and comments of others, it seems Murray had a list of guys he liked 4 years ago, and hasn't really deviated from it.

Just like the Kulikov deal. He made the comment after that he's loved his style since he was in Ottawa, yet it seems he ignored Kulikov's actual play over the time in-between.

Results seem to come secondary to Murray to his personal opinion of players.

I don't care if they can't move all the dead weight but who ever you are stuck with (Ennis, Moulso) stick them down in the AHL or sit them in the PB.. Keep them as far from the ice as possible and let the kids play.
