Definitely not bad for a 6th round pick. We did pretty good with our later picks from the 2016 draft in my opinion

Agreed, i would absolutely consider trading down from 1 if we somehow get it this year. almost better off

Agreed, i have reservations about the gm but ive liked the drafting last two years. I dont know if thats GMTM or Royce but either way I trust them enough to hit on lower picks to a point where trading down could be a game changer. Having said that, id still like them to offer the pick in a package to see what kind of nhl talent it brings back.

Its funny because if you listen to his post draft interviews, when asked about later picks he will defer to his scouting staff. basically admits he knows little about some of them. Mainly the euro guys

The strangest thing is that the biggest issue is STILL goaltending. I'm pretty sure they were one of a handful of teams with a sub .900 SV%.

Ghost and a couple others took a step back this year as well.
