Yeah, I remember the rumor. Not too many GM are willing to give up a top 10 pick for an established player. NJ did for Schneider, but I can't recall any others. |

I'm wondering after all this if he's going to retire..
It's a sad thing to think about but his health is more important - GERBE!!!75PTS
then if kane walks
you have 2 more holes in your top 6 to fill

Byslma always seems to want a physical presence on Eichels wing and I feel that just just not needed. Eichel is good enough in the corners to work the puck himself, what he needs is someone to actually finish the passes he's putting in around the goal. The likes of Foligno always seems surprised when the puck lands at his stick in close. Get some skilled players around 15 and start him as the top pivot next season. |

Well, if that ever did happen, losing Okposo and Kane, we'll have a boatload of cash to go shopping and JT will be tops on my list. |

It's an outdated way of thinking, probably because Bylsma was a grinder. He had Nylander on the bench but chose to play Dlo with Eichel in a meaningless game. Well we learned what we already knew, Dlo doesn't get points, and we still don't know if Nylander and Eichel are a good fit together |

It hurts... I'm sure the Sabres will hire him for the organization
Very very tough news to hear ...
But I think we're likely going to trade Kane for a defenseman |

If moves were made....
Kane-Eichel-Okposo
Nash-ROR-Reinhart
Ennis-Grigs/Erod-Haglin(or this type of player)
Dlo-Erod/Grigs-Gio
If a fourth line of Dlo-Grigs-Gio keep you out of the playoffs, much more is wrong with the team, fourth line usually only plays 7-9 mins a game.
I agree that I'd like to see Gionta move on, but he's hardly holding the team back. |

And i just posted that he is on his way to recovery. But, being in ICU in a Nuero center is not good no matter what. |

Yep. Surely bringing up Nylander was to give him a taste of the NHL and what to expect, give him a taste of what what his potential centreman in Eichel is like to play with and get the kid excited to work his ass off over the summer. And for the fans on the last home game...its maddening stuff. |

I remember when Bylsma was coaching Pittsburgh and he put together the Ham sandwich - Crosby - Nacho vendor guy from section 312, line. Man, those results were sub par. |

I like the top 3, but there aren't any PK guys in that bottom 6. Larsson is probably our best guy in the bottom six right now. Girgs isn't that guy, and he's not the guy 5-on-5, and he's not the guy on the PP. I don't see any value in him. As for Dlo, i just really don't believe you can have a playoff team with a guy that gets 2 assists a year. I'd also rather have foligno than Gio, but i can see an argument for both.

Bailey, ROR, Okposo
Foligno, Reinhart, player x
Smith/Carrier, E rod, Gionta

Bailey and Baptiste shouldn't be in the top 6 IMO and why put E Rod on the 4th line ? |

I'm surprised they said he was in neuro surg. HIPAA is no joke. If Okposo doesn't want info released someone could get into huge trouble.
I don't know what the laws are like in Canada, but pretty much every time you go to a doctor here you have to sign some sort of waiver so they can get info from other doctors, or if you had x-rays somewhere, or blood work... - Wetbandit1
