What determines that for you? - Nuck4U
When they whip their alpha balls out and put them on the table with impunity. That shows they're ready for prime time. |

Playing time.
Fulfilling roll ie; checker, sniper, punisher etc.
Special teams.
On & on.
I'm not getting sucked into your vortex of mind-f*ck. No more stupid questions. |

I take you meant role and were not trying to be funny.
In general, what you said is a profound statement. I guess you are alluding to the choice of the safe player. So it's a risk reward determination.
The debate gets murky with the youth trying to bridge the gap on development and potential. For example, when the games don't count for the fortunes of the team. Then trying to determine where that youth is at or can develop into. It seems to be a time when it's not hurting the team. - Nuck4U

When they can take someones job without it being handed to them because of injury or lack of NHL talent on the team, like the Oilers did. - A_SteamingLombardi
Are you Marwood or do you finish each other's sentences lol.
Okay so that's your take on this topic of youth development. So Stecher should have stayed in the AHL and Tree should have been sent back to the KHL by that reasoning. |

I think its pretty obvious who is earning it and who isnt. Molino has looked great, busts his ass for 30-40 seconds and gets off the ice. Gaunce (despite his lack of production) was the same, you credit him with relentless puck pursuit and effort.
Then you look at early JV, early Goldobin (last couple games have looked much better), Boucher and see them take shifts off, thats when I dont have a problem stapling them to the bench. Players will make the wrong reads and I can live with those mistakes, but if a player gets beat by being lazy or not engaged then I support any demotion - WhiteLie
THats very true & each player has their own game aspects to work on.
They do it and things fall into place if not they go where they will learn to do it.
I for one believe earning it has nothing to do with deserving it totally different words that earning it then leads to deserving it is to follow not deserving it then eaning it to learn in the pros. Semantics to some ppl but not to me. |

How well did that work out for us? Obviously it was a total poop show for years...how many coaching changes were made? at least one per season right?....if a team is poop then it doesnt matter how many new coaches you put in the team is still poop...but if you got rid of some of the crap on a team and replaced them with better players then perhaps that might bring on a positive change...coaches dont put on the equipment and skate on the ice that is the players job but again a team could have the greatest coach in history but if the team itself is poop then there is no hiding it...get better players first then put the right coach in place who knows how to coach the talent

I tried having a hockey discussion since you responded to some of my posts with hockey comments. Now it's obvious they were veiled troll attempts with this response. Another example of the many childish postings you make to try to sh!tdisturb as a resident troll. |

Really looking forward to seeing Boeser tomorrow night...have heard alot about the kid and he seems to be playing great since he joined your team...tell you what tho if you agree to lose both games this weekend and cheer for the Kings to beat the Ducks then we wont even have to worry about seeing the Sharks |

You made a hockey comment to my post. I don't discriminate. Unlike you. Must be tiring being such a d!ck about it instead of just talking hockey. Is discussing viewpoints instead of slurring posters a strange concept for you |

Trolls, finish others sentences etc etc etc
Do u realize u can let nothing go & relax?
U take everything so personal & only elicit more responses.
I'm wxtroverted & understand its not everyones cup of tea.
Its called recognition & respect that everyone is not like me.
Its for me to fit in & not to force ppl to be something in my image.
Ppl r different & i understand that so everyone has an opinion & way of conversing their opinion. Its not a black & white situation but rather fun & bashing our brains out here to make for good hockey banter. |

Lol i think i like u in a sort of hockey sensible way ππ
As for Boeser the kid plays a smart game & good nose for scoring & finishing.
His maturity has made it a pretty seamless transition to the Pros.
Good audition so far but next season is one more step to getting even better.
The kid by all accounts is a leader & self driven like BO is & thats an intangible any team or player is gonna benefit from. Like your McDavid is a super talent but is also super hard worker along with the motivation & work ethic that says nothng is enough. That is what makes a star a superstar or even the best in the world ala Sid. |

You take everything on this site way to serious, for the last (frank)ing time this is a rumour site not a hockey site, that is why we discuss everything under the sun, our conversations run the gamut, if you want to discuss hockey may I suggest a hockey site. Making a joke is not trolling maybe it is on a hockey site, but you're not on a hockey site. |
