Hey man, relax, it's funny because we have an oiler fan coming in and trolling you over the couch thing. I don't think anyone thinks wd is the cats meow but for where the team is it's not hurting us right now.

Pretty much it......to put it all on WD is nonsense and just excuses the players from any blame at all....lets say you bring in a new coach next year and the result is the same...is that the coaches fault too? so then replace that one and move on to another?....wait wait this is all starting to feel very familiar here

If he's hurting development with his systems and deployment decisions then yes you could say that. The team isn't where it is based solely on the players. That's too narrow of a view. Neither is the teams forturnes all on WD. So it all needs to improve.

Is it a sequence thing? You know, have enough talent then coaches matter? Maybe. Hard to say which has more effect right now. With all the new players etc going on there is a definite change in the works.

So now where are we on that cause and effect

I realize you dont understand how this all works and all but really, we are 29th place for crying out loud and you still dont think wd is hurting us

I get what you are saying. But is it the same? When you have two seasons of the same results. But only four players left from that previous time period. When does it fall on the coach?

Can you honestly tell me with the roster you guys have now that you are at the point where a coach will lead you to the promise land? Or is it fair to say that perhaps you are lacking in certain areas and maybe its more important to clean up those areas first before anything else?

Only promised land in these parts pilgrim is the Cup. So Hell no it's not a go team now. But if you want to improve the wagon, can't just work on the horses. The wheels and steering, are all are part of the drive, that you need to hitch it all together. Yeah hear

Well that's not being fair to them. They just don't think the players are good enough for any coach to do better. There's the rub how do you know if the players are that bad. If the players have been changed over who's coaching them then what's the answer?

No poop? what an interesting concept....but by also reading some of the comments its like you fire WD and get a lotto pick and BAM presto chango good times are coming our way!!!!....lets forget that for 11 years I have sat there and listened to the same poop year in and year out "oh we got a high draft pick and a new coach things are going to turn around"......now lets fast forward to what happened in the next off season...."oh we got a high draft pick and a new coach NOW things are going to turn around watch out!!!!!".....see a pattern developing here? no? well hold on ill repeat what was said the following off season......"oh poop guys we got another high round pick and a coach who seems to have a clue this is finally it we are gonna improve!!!!!"....need more?....ok how about this one....."oh poop guys we got a generational player and a proven head coach poop is about to get real now!!!!" oh hello lotto pick nice to see you again....a good coach doesnt solve all problems and doesnt mask every issue despite what some may think

That's my point too brother, one lotto pick makes no difference either. Need a whole range of working it to get it all right. That includes coaching, depth and game breaking talent.

The Oil did get jabbed with that generational player getting injured to have another lotto pick. Dam that rotten luck. Care to toss any for Nuck's sake

Oh its not luck you dont miss the playoffs for that many years then get a generational talent because you are lucky....that happens due to being incompetent
