If any team had the injuries we have had they wouldn't be near as good either. |

When is it right for the youth to play over the plugs? To further their development in the NHL? - Nuck4U
THe time is right now & its being done. Next season should be all about doing the same thing & i don't see it not being so. If for any reason thats not the case then its strangeville. |

Our highest scoring player is 83rd in league scoring, so yeah our team sucks. - A_SteamingLombardi
If he were top 10 we would suck also.

No doubt & nobody is close to our man games lost.
It further helps our rebuild as a bonus. |

If we trade edler and tanev then we become the oil or the leafs.
The players still play hard. The kids are alright.
To blame the season on the coach is ridiculous.
Have you ever coached?
Do you think av would have us in the show?
Who do you suggest right now?
Nobody better, wait until he loses the room then can him.
Wait until the kids have developed and its time to compete, then hire a playoff coach.
(frank) these are your own words im feeding back to you.
Has he ruined horvat or Baer or Gran?
Hell no. - Pres.cup
he has been good for the youth, its his in game decisions that most are questioning. |

The ironic thing is, with BB, OJ and the young d a year older we should be better next year with or without WD. Especially I feel we end up with ya that top 2 pick in the lineup. At that point, if we have new coach we'll have months of donkeykong saying "I told you so". I guess it will be better than the "it's all WD" barrels he's been lobbing for years. |

Adding to we should not have high expectations soon its not out of the question that stranger things have happened. At any time the Nucks could gel as a team & that would be the next step in the process. That said it would need to be a sign & continue to get better & not be a one off blip on progress to regress after. The 1 year cost of drafting would prolly be a worse off scenario on the longterm outlook. Perennial PO or Cup contending teams need more than a good NHL roster to keep it greased & long lasting. |

I agree but what does amount to? Prolly kids growing but not a huge translation into wins. If we fire WD i want an offensive coach only that the kids can learn under & idc if playing D & a 200' gets delayed if the offense is unleashed & the results r good.
Now is that coach a Crawford(Crow) or a Gallant or someone else? |

Where did i say that?
The youth that prove they belong such as horvat and baer should be up and WD hasnt hurt their play.
Why must you be so argumentative?
Do you belive that all the young players currently on the roster belong in the NHL?
What you quoted had nothing to do with what your talking about.
Take a walk, clear your mind and come back focused.
You dont have to be right all the time...ok. - Pres.cup
Sounds like you are trying to be a wise a$$ instead of clarify a question. I asked a question because you had two posts saying two different things. You agreed in one with Makita saying the youth all should be developed in the AHL. Then in the other on this thread you said that WD should stay to develop the youth. That's a confusing position.
How you twisted this from me asking a question into something else is hilarious and hypocritical in your accusations. Talk about confusing and not being focused. Keep on assuming that leads to great discussions... notIs the potential you mean, now? Next season? What?. At least I asked for clarification.
By the way Sven is young but not among the youth. Plus he would have to be waived if you thought he could be sent down. Asset management you know. Bo is a vet by now ending year 3 and going to all star game plus leading scorer. Pretty much a no brainer there and not in the youth development question. He like Sven and Granlund are in the young guys taking over lead talk which is a different development.
As for the youth I don't know where they belong as of yet. That's why seeing what they could do when losses don't matter is a good use of these games. |

We should all take into account we have the worst schedule by far in the league and these young guys havnt experienced anything like this, they are worn out by feb march. |

Make sense to me: somebody guys need to develop at the AHL others at the NHL. Guys need to develop, that development happens at various levels. I don't see a contradiction, maybe just a misunderstanding |
