Yes but someone is hung up on what foundational means in hockey terms.

Foundational=Franchise =kane, toews, Kieth=necessary players
Core player=Hjarmallson, Hossa, Crow, Seabrook=sufficient but arguably could be moved/replaced
Role=changable parts=Teovo, Shaw, Bickell (poor guy), Campbell, oduya ect.

That's how I would break it down.

Our current foundation=Bo
the rest is uncertain IMO

That's my thoughts also, fixated on swords, coaching, you know nothing about coaching, incoherent riddles, youth, vets, JB competence, yada yada...

If you were to ask Carol, I don't think she would say any of the above, it should be about hockey.

The guys has hit 20 goals twice, and 40 points once in his career. There are no excuses for him, he's not very good a scoring.
- golfingsince

He's a 3rd line center no more no less. Offensive expectations shouldn't part of his game but unfortunately when JB brought him in and paid him as such it has made ppl think he has that value.

Nobody is hung up on anything, you just seem to be confused as to the meaning of the word.

Now that you've googled it, i'm sure you understand what JB meant by it as well.

To be fair, no one is scoring on the powerplay. That's not just a Sutter issue. He has played a lot. Powerplay should be: Boucher, bb, Bo, SVen, goldy, granlund, stecher, hutton. some of those guys are getting pp time, not enough. Sutter scores 5v5, he should be deployed there and pk IMo
