Sounds like Zukenov going to play in Russia as per JD Burke

That's too bad, I thought he looked good at the Nucks camp and had a decent season. Obviously was always going to be a long shot but was hoping to see him in the AHL.

I'd put prefer to see more AHL deals for guys who have basically no shot at the NHL. Can always sign them if they start progressing in the AHL. I'd trade Subban for a pick or prospect, dude is still scratched in the AHL at times and likely has no future here #feelings

Would definitely sign McEneny.

I think Comets D will be next year

IMO the "something to it" is as simple as it was dubbed "The Patrick Draft" when he missed last year's age cutoff despite being good enough to be picked Top 10. Since then though, he hasn't separated himself from the pack like an elite talent would - injuries aside. Got worse in primary ppg, didn't improve his play away from the puck which I've seen described as lazy/indifferent... All pretty concerning. He's viewed from a much different perspective as one of the oldest of the class vs how people saw him as last year's "just missed the cut" stud.
- DrChristianTroy

I'm not sure it's that simple. He has certainly been hyped up for a number of years but I've read a few times that it was his performance in the playoffs that cemented him as the favorite. I think he is definitely the more NHL ready player out of the top guys this year but you can't ignore the injuries either.

Absolutely. Throw in the fact that he is apparently a cancer in the locker room and no thanks

No Glass?
- DrChristianTroy

Glass is a very fast riser on many boards, I don't have him above any of the guys on this list but he is certainly 6.

I just seen a tweet from Tambir "Canucks without their best winger"

If Baertschi is our best winger this is a very sad state

It's either him, Granlund or LE. so, yes I'd say it's pretty sad.

What do you guys think of Ratcliffe with the second pick 58 pts in 63 games. Anyone see him play live?

I am not for bringing in a new coach this upcoming year.

I don't like WD and think some of his comments are stupid but let him finish. No sense bringing in a coach that can't change things up at this point. It also helps us get a higher pick next year in a stronger draft.

- VANTEL

I pretty much agree. If a new coach i like an offensive coach for our situation.

It sure is great to see Gino making a recovery! One of my favourite Canucks, up there with Andre Boudrias & Harold Snepts.

If around for our 2nd pick he would be a solid choice.
Presuming we get the CBJ 2nd is very interesting who we get there.

Will Benning have the balls to step outside the box again this year. He was greeted to oohs and awws last year at the draft and had everyone saying WTF Benning all year.

Can he put up with another year of Gordo's Benning is an idiot chant ?

I'm thinking of getting season's tickets for the Wildcats next season, although I may only show up to 5 or 6 games.

The great debate until draft day will be:

Who is BPA. What should JB choose: either skill or size?

The guy is getting paid for his ability to make this call, above all other skills he possesses. I'm always happy on draft day with JB at the helm. UFA day, not so much.

Tbh too much is made of one UFA as in LE.
Jury is out on him but i've no worries @8% of our cap space.
Vrbata worked out well til he turned into a flake.
Miller was a very good stabilizer.
