What was interesting, Tootoo jumped Ritchie and threw a couple of punches after that and Ritchie went into protect mode. Part 2 - Tootoo did not even get a penalty. Also Perry did get a borderline crosscheck and then sold it pretty well.

Did you bother to look at what the Habs have down the middle of the ice? Danault is a nice player but not as a contender's # 1 center. They will be lucky to get past the Rangers.

To be honest, I was having more fun with the East picks with an upset or two and was more realistic with the West picks. I didn't base my picks for any of the rounds on any stats or analyses.

The Chicago Blackhawks released the following statement from Team Physician Dr. Michael Terry regarding defenseman Michal Rozsival:

"Michal Rozsival underwent surgery today to repair facial fractures. Surgery went well and he is expected to make a full recovery."

Richie saw Perry face down and not moving after Rozy's cross check. Due to the selling and lack of movement, Richie thought he was doing what was necessary. Had he known Perry was faking, he wouldn't have done what he did nor would he have been suspended. JMO.

Took SJ over EDM in the 1st. Pens will have the toughest road to the Cup final and even if they make it, they'll be really beat up by the time they get there. Gotta go thru CBJ and WASH just to get to ECF.

Right. Just watching the video in slow motion, you can see Ritchie's point of view. Had Perry actually been hurt on the play instead of just selling it for a penalty and Rozy still got popped as he did, I don't know if Ritchie would've been suspended at all.

Corey Perry is a cheapshotting dive artist. If Ritchie, a teammate, has not figured this out, I seriously question whether Ritchie has the intelligence to breathe.
