Sutter is such a wussy it's embarrassing. He should've turned around and punched Eberle in the yap. I think he's actually softer than the Sedins. |

if that the case its at worst 2-5's, a 6, a 9 , a 23, and 2-24's in the last 5 yrs. time to surround the youth with the right pieces - onesmallleap
We need a hell of a lot more than what we currently have. Its going to be another 2-3 years of finishes like this year. We are not even close to putting the right free agents around the young core to move forward. |

Ruff as an assistant coach? - dbot
I hope we stay away from him. Long long losing record.
He always appears depressed. Depressed seems to affect others around them, maybe thats the issue? |

i didn't say free agents , although the right player could make a huge difference , more like creative trading and asset managing much like the McCann and Shink trades |

Trading Tanev is the best option this team has, IF the return makes sense. NTC doesnt kick in until Summer. Prospects and/or Picks for 2018.
Edler-Stetcher
Hutton-Gudbransom
Sbisa-Tryamkin
Pedan-Biega
Still room for a very cheap UFA and maybe Juolevi sees some games at the start of the year. Edler, Sbisa, Tryamkin and Gudbranson all could eat minutes. Didnt they hope Guddy would step up to be a leader? He needs to eat minutes and play to have a chance at that. Plus, we wont be any better next year so if the injury bug hits we still win with another high pick in a better draft.
Still gettig caught up on the comments but I would be surprised if Tanev was still a Canuck given the circumstances...

His balls are huge though
Just doesn't want to hurt them by defending a teammate. |

if we are going to have the twins come back next year i would love management to try and get Doan to do a year on their wing , the right kind of vet that can still play , is hungry to win and will give them some serious grit on their wing |

I think trading for short term fixes is a mistake. Keeping drafting well, sign a couple free agents on 1 yr deals that can be flipped at the deadline and use our cap space to acquire some poop contracts that will come off the books in a year or 2. |

Looks like we was gritty
77 hits in 80 games(don't think he had one tonight), no fights this year, 12 penalty minutes in 81 games
who neutered him here? |

Edler has to go, to me is the only one that should not be back(Would love LE but he is one of the worst contracts in the league and going no where). Trade him while he still has value. Id also figure out what you want to do with guddy and tanev. Id deal one of them to. Then sign a couple stop gaps.
