Trade clauses make it hard but not much there to move outside of them old buggers. - LeftCoaster
Edler looks like a defeated man. Send him to Tampa.
btw I don't actually expect any big name vets moved this summer, I look forward to the freakouts if that's the case. It'll be weird being the one defending Benning.

They could move everyone on the roster and it wouldn't bother me as long as they got a good return.
We need a top 6 forward and we need D ( better D) There no one magic trade that will put us over the top.
If you could trade Edler to TB for their first then why not?
Draft a Center with the top 5 . Draft a winger with the 15 th if you trade.
Maybe take the 32 and CBJ 2nd and move up to 27 th and draft Hague .
Lots of scenarios but sitting on our hands is not the answer - VANTEL
90% of fans seem to be in favour of trading Edler so I don't understand why you'd suggest that the majority are okay with doing nothing. NTC is the issue.
Canucks need way more than 1 more top 6 forward, they need multiple, defense is a mess and they have no starting goalie signed for next year(Markstrom is more of a 1B at best). The roster is a mess.
It's going to take a few years for this team to be on the upswing again. This draft isn't exactly loaded with prospects who are NHL-ready.
