Back to back 6 month bans from Ek and two kids under 2 years old. It's been a journey, but of all the seasons to be serving a ban for, the 2016-2017 seems like a good one to have done it.

I don't think Benning is going anywhere unless Linden goes too. He'll get a new coach at least.

As much as I don't really think anyone has done a bang on job, stability at the top has some value.

I think back to those polls taken about best GMs it didn't do any favors and the team has trended down for three years an add the Eriksson contract. I would not be shocked if he and WD are released this week.

Not saying it will but I won't be surprised if they are let go

Another very important issue is Who will be running this gong show ? Lefty is not the only person to call Benning an idiot. The last time the fans were that unhappy FA fired the coach and GM

I'd assume Aquaman and JB are on the same page after what we saw at the TDL. But it's pretty rare for a GM to survive a complete rebuild, especially since he's already been here for 3 years.

I'm sure Benning will still be in charge next year, but it'll be interesting to see how patient Aquilini is throughout this process.

Then again, maybe FA will see the organization is a little deeper than it was 3 years ago in terms of young talent and give him another year to see what direction it heads in.

I think it is early to fully judge him but there have been big question marks. I just checked Twitter and fans and media are trying to suggest him and WD be gone but that is nothing new.

Like you and Golfing have said most GMs don't last for the rebuild . It will be interesting the next two weeks

That would be a problem...if this fan base was capable of all agreeing on one crappy course of action....but as we see most nights we can't even agree on Webster dictionary definitions of core and franchise player etc. Could poll 100 fans and get 100 completely different opinions.
